“Unmanned Maritime Vehicles: State of the Industry and Innovation”
“This presentation will provide a snapshot of the current state of the Unmanned Maritime Vehicle (UMV) industry including leading technologies, manufacturers and applications.It will then transition into a discussion of emerging applications and technologies to highlight current innovations in UMV developments. Ancillary systems such as power, telemetry and navigation will be encompassed as well as the variety of UMVs including both undersea and surface systems”
Justin is an innovative technologist and executive with experience in startup, public corporation, academic, and public sectors. Mr. Manley is a recognized leader in unmanned systems development and operations. After professional roles at MIT, supporting NOAA and in the private sector with Liquid Robotics and Teledyne Marine Systems he founded Just Innovation Inc. in mid-2015 where he supports a variety of clients with a focus on unmanned and undersea systems.
Mr. Manley has demonstrated accomplishments in professional organizations including MTS and IEEE. He is a member of the U.S. Integrated Ocean Observing System (IOOS) Advisory Committee. He is also dedicated to innovation, advising startup companies and was a judge for the Wendy Schmidt Ocean Health XPRIZE.
